Grace Ryan Piano Award:

Grace Ryan was a highly esteemed Conservatory piano faculty member for many years. In 1981, the Ryan family established a scholarship fund in her name to be awarded to a graduating piano student with outstanding ability, financial need, and plans to study piano performance or music education at the college level. Students must fill out an application that includes a 100-word essay written by the students on what they plan to do with music in college and thereafter. A ZCM committee chooses those who receive the award. If no student qualifies, no award is given. More than one recipient may be awarded each year. Call the Conservatory office for more information.
